International Audio Holding is a growing and internationally operating high-end hi-fi company. With over 30 employees, we develop and produce high-quality audio cables, electronics and loudspeakers in Elst (Gld). Through the brands Siltech and CrystalConnect - by Crystal Cable - we sell these products, which belong to the top of the high-end audio world, in more than 50 countries worldwide. Quality is therefore the top priority for our company, every mistake is one too many. After an initial check by the production employees themselves, each product is technically and visually tested by our quality controller.

The position:

In this important position you will be responsible for the last step in checking our audio cables, which are all hand made by our production team. Final inspection according to our high quality requirements takes place on technical (plug connections, measuring electrical properties on test equipment) and visual (scratches, dents, irregularities) characteristics. You report on detected deviations and resolve them with the relevant employee.

In collaboration with our sales employee, you help with the (administrative) handling of shipping our products worldwide. You collect the order, package the goods accurately and assist with the logistics administration and documentation.

Daily activities are:

  • Testing cables for quality, correct connections and appearance. Both technical checks on our measuring equipment and visual inspection on appearance.
  • Think along about solving problems or quality-enhancing measures.
  • Report on deviations and have employees make corrections or repairs in a good way.
  • Signing, scanning and archiving of product certificates.
  • Carefully packing cables in various luxury packaging, collecting all products of an order and preparing them for shipment in boxes or pallets.
  • Assist with dispatch of outgoing orders and register with carriers.
  • Possibly assist with other activities, for example: quality checks on incoming goods, work preparation for production, RMAs, jobs in the factory.

Job requirements:

  • Completed education and thinking level at at least MBO 4 level.
  • Solid work experience in quality control and/or logistics administration.
  • Able to work independently and take responsibility.
  • Has good communication skills and is not afraid to confront colleagues about mistakes.
  • Quality conscious, accurate, decisive and proactive.
  • Technical insight to be able to solve errors with production employees. Affinity with (high-end) audio is a plus.
  • Good computer skills and experience at work level with Windows, Excel, Word and ERP systems (experience with AFAS Profit and planning systems is a plus).
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language.
